My Little Pony Movie Coming Soon

The My Little Pony brand has been entertaining fans worldwide for 30+ years starting in the early 80's.  The brand is still going strong today banking on much of the nostalgia associated with it.  But, finally fans can stop waiting for the big screen debut.  After being announced almost 2 years ago with a joint production between Lionsgate and Hasbro, the much anticipated My Little Pony release on October 6, 2017.  With Meghan McCarthy writing and notable actors/actresses Emily Blunt, Kristin Chenoweth, Liev Schreiber, Michael Peña, Sia, Taye Diggs, Uzo Aduba, and Zoe Saldana voicing characters, this is sure to be a hit with your little ones (and you may even enjoy it, as well).

When discussing the very first MLP movie in 2015, Lionsgate Co-President Erik Feig said "Meghan McCarthy and the MY LITTLE PONY cast are a very talented and cohesive team whom we're happy to be working with and we're excited about the addition of the very talented Kristin Chenoweth, as we explore new aspects of these characters and new story opportunities for the franchise."  Hasbro Inc. Chief Content Officer, Stephen Davis added "We are thrilled to expand the MY LITTLE PONY story to the big screen, and take these beloved characters on a new and unexpected journey that will delight fans of all ages."

In the upcoming film, a dark force threatens Ponyville along with Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rarity.  They embark on a journey where they meet new friends and exciting challenges on a quest to use the magic of friendship and save their home.
